The Comfort Grand Prix Dressage saddle has changed quite a lot over the years, however still provides the rider with a deep seat and large adjustable knee blocks (also available with smaller blocks for horses who have their own knee rolls!) .
Now available in a number of tree and panel options, the Comfort Grand Prix Dressage saddle can fit a large range of horses ranging from the High Withered, Thoroughbred to the widest, flat backed Highland and everything in between. Including the immensely popular Native options known as the “Grand Prix Cob”

Soft, flexible, hard wearing Memel leather is standard providing the rider with a close contact feel. Available with the option of suede seat or suede seat and knee pads, giving extra grip to the rider, the Comfort Grand Prix Dressage saddle provides the rider with a very secure seat, however big the horses movement.
Whatever choice of panels chosen for your saddle they have a large load bearing surface with a generous gullet. The saddle is available in black, Memel leather and or Part Suede or as a special custom order in Rich Dark Brown , Italian Calf or with Lizardskin panels .
Seat sizes are 16.5″, 17″, 17.5″ and 18″. The Comfort Grand Prix Dressage saddle comes with our standard four girthing straps for choice.
The Grand Prix saddle is very versatile, it is used by our customers not only for Dressage but Endurance, Le Trec and especially in the Brown, Part Suede option with smaller knee blocks and shorter girthing can also provide a secure show saddle.
As with all saddles available from us a custom saddle can be designed for the individual customer if required with a number of options including custom knee blocks, twist, flap length or suede or doeskin seat or knee rolls so we really can produce the perfect saddle for you, we however recommend that you ride in a standard saddle for the 14 day trial before ordering so we can be sure the correct saddle is made as custom saddles are non returnable see our information page, Choosing the right saddle, trials and customisation for more information.
